Giving Water and Sharing the Living Water

Last week we had the opportunity to be a part of a dedication for a water pump that will be free for a community in Borel.

I’ll let Lisa McKee of “Homes 4 Haiti” explain about this project:

“Thank You Lord Jesus for Your provisions to us. Today GAP Ministries along with Lutesson Ben Joseph were able to provide clean drinking water to a community. Bens words were that after he had his well drilled he had more water then he could use and wanted to help his community, but he needed help to make that happen… Thanks to those who helped make this happen with your donations.”

A story about this project from Lisa:

“As we were at the dedication service today the first two women who came told us that if they wanted good water to drink it cost them .75 for a gallon which is very hard to come by in Haiti. They also said that they had had to walk 30-40 minutes to the road to wait on the water truck and then walk back carrying the water on their heads. The water truck only comes Sunday & Wed to their village. Oh what we take for granted pure clean drinking water does not happen everywhere. So be thankful and remember to thank our Lord Jesus when you have a clean drink of water today.”

It was an awesome experience to be a part of this dedication.  There was lots of laughing and dancing and praising God for this gift of clean water.  Thank you Ben for giving back to your community.  May all the glory always go back to God!

“Praise God from whom all blessings flow…”
